THE HALF MOON MARKET

  • the half moon market at the lake house Washington Park Albany, NY 12203 usa (map)

Next Market: April 23 & 24, 2016

A two-day indie craft marketplace event in Albany's historic Washington Park Lake House.

The market is named for the Half Moon, the ship sailed by Henry Hudson in 1609. The Half Moon sailed up the river as far as the present day location of Albany, New York. A replica of the ship was docked in the Port of Albany until 2014, when it was relocated to the Netherlands.

Our Fall 2015 market featured over 30 regional makers, artists and small companies offering handmade jewelry, ceramics, stationery, soaps, and more, as well as a few local food & drink vendors and live music. To see our Fall 2015 lineup, check out our vendors page here. Our full Spring vendor lineup will be announced soon!

The Half Moon Market is independently organized with support from the City of Albany and The Washington Park Neighborhood Association, as well as several community sponsors.
